Drones for Weddings

The newest trend is Drone Photography! Summer rings in the wedding season and as you plan your big day consider using a drone at your wedding. Drone photography is rising in popularity especially at events like weddings. To drone, or not to drone, that’s the big question. If you are on the fence about hiring a drone for your wedding, there are a few things you should consider.

Safety is the most important thing to keep in mind on your big day. Making sure you hire professionals, like us here a V-Drone, will avoid risk of having any accidents on your hands. Drones are similar to mini helicopters, so whoever is flying it should be properly trained. Also, double check the insurance that the drone company has to ensure you won’t be liable if there happens to be an accident.

Collaboration between the ground photographers and drone pilot is also important. They should sit down develop a plan, so everyone is on the same page. As the bride or groom, you will also want to know when the drone will fly over the ceremony and make sure it won’t ruin anything you have planned. Drone aren’t all silent or weather proof. Keep in mind drone can fly inside, but it’s very risky. They also can’t get any close-ups because of safety precautions.

Unlike ground-based photography, drones provide a whole new way to capture your nuptials. Drones can document dynamic and illustrative video to display the scope and scenic view of your event. They also make the impossible, possible with the ability to get creative with your wedding shots. You can gather your guests together to spell out words or other fun shots.

If you want a drone at your wedding, make sure you get the best company. Here at V-Drone we will ensure we capture all the memories of your big day.
